2008 Team

The 2008 Grand Ledge football team was the 4th team in school history to go undefeated (1941, 1973, & 1992) and only the 3rd to go 9-0 (1973 & 1992). They were the 3rd team in school history to win 10+ games (1992 & 2000). They beat 5 playoff teams on their way to a district title appearance (Mason, Everett, East Lansing, Charlotte, & BCC). They would have to face the eventual Division 1 State Champs, Rockford, in the 2nd round; Rockford had also won back to back state titles in 2005 & 2006 (they also beat GL in 2005 in the regional title game).
