The 2010 Grand Ledge football team was only the 5th team in school history to go undefeated and only the 4th to go 9-0. They would have to face the D2 defending state champs the 1st round of the playoffs, a game they led 24-21 to start the 4th quarter before ultimately falling 35-24. Lowell would return to the state title in 2010 and again in 2011.

Grand Ledge beats eventual D2 playoff qualifier East Lansing 9-0 to improve to 6-0 on the season. East Lansing finished 7-3.
Grand Ledge beats eventual D1 playoff qualifier Holt 17-10 to get to 8-0 and win the CAAC Blue title. Holt was the defending league champs and went to the D1 Semifinals in 2009. They would finish 7-4 in 2010.
Grand Ledge beats eventual D1 playoff qualifier and regional finalist Howell 17-6 to finish the regular season 9-0 for only the 4th time in school history (1973, 1992, 2008). Howell finished the season 8-4, losing in the D1 regional final to Rockford 31-27.
Grand Ledge drops from D1 to the D2 playoffs for the 1st and still only time in school history. They would host Lowell, the defending D2 state champs in the 1st round of the playoffs. Grand Ledge would take the lead at the end of the 3rd quarter 24-21 before ultimately falling 35-24. Lowell would eventually return to the state title game that season as well as the following season in 2011. They would finish as runner-up in 2010 and 2011.
